Sunflower festival

We enjoyed the pancake breakfast for the festival on Friday and saturday.
Poppa helped make the yummiest pancakes!!!!

Festival parade

This year the parade was pretty special.
I watched the parade with My Momma, my Dad, My Oma, My Nana, auntie cindy B, Lindsey and Linda until My Poppa came by in his corvette, and then I jumped into the car with him, and rode in the rest of the parade.

cuddles

With my other auntie Cindy(except I call this one by her full name..lol)
I managed to sneak in some cuddles with her before lunch at the mennonite food buffet, at the festival.

Petting farm

We had so much fun at the petting farm at The festival.
I went for a pony ride, and Momma snuck carrots in her bag, so that I could feed the cutest donkey some baby carrots. It took me awhile to get used to her slobbering on my hand.

art gallery

Altona opened up an art gallery in town, along with a gorgeous landscaped outdoor area, and boy!!!! did I ever have fun gettin soaked from the fountain.

The joys of summer

One of our favourite things to do in the evening, is go to the hut for an ice cream cone for bedsnack. I am usually quite adventurous, and tend to pick some funky flavour of hard ice cream...but my fave part is the cone(I even try to nibble on the bottom of the cone before anything else)

School playground

Last Thursday, My Momma and I picked up supper from The Hut and had a picnic on the wooden school bus at Elmwood School(That is the school I will be going to in September)
Then I spent some time playing, and getting used to the equipment there.

Plum Coulee beach

We usually come here a few times every summer, so we made our first trip during the week.
We ate lunch at the sunset diner and then went to play at the beach.
I swam all the way to the rope and back, and then worked on building some sand castles.

Pool time

I have spent a few evenings playing at the local pool.
I have the most fun if my buddy T(and his sisters) are there to play with me:)

Morris Stampede

My Momma & I spent the day at the stampede with our friends/neighbours.
We left shortly after 8 am, so that we could get good seats for the parade(and boy! did they ever hand out candy)
We went on some rides, went to a cooking show, ate lots of food, went to the petting farm, checked out the other animals, walked around, and then went to Barnay's for dinner before heading home.
My Momma and I both fell asleep by 7:40 that night and slept til 9 am...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Rides at Morris Stampede

I got to choose 3 rides to go on at the stampede, so I chose Nemo, the helicopters and dragon.
I really had fun when I went on with my buddies.

Tinkertown fun

Every summer we go to Tinkertown and I had so much fun again this year!!!
