My best buddy

My cousin Darrick has become my bestest buddy ever.
During the bonfire we even fell asleeep together while watching a movie in my parents bed.
The next morning we shared some cuddles on the drive into winnipeg to do some shopping.
He may be 9 years older then me, but we share a very close bond.

Bonfire party

To celebrate my Dads birthday(one day early) we had family and some close friends over for a wiener roast.
We jammed(I played the harmonica) ate lots of food, and had a good time. I crashed shortly after midnight(way too late..lol) and everyone else left at about 3:30.

Kindergarten windup

Last friday afternoon, my class had our kindergarten wind up/grad at Graces place.
We had a candy scramble, a tea party, games with or parents, story time, and a fashion show for our parents.
I gave Mrs Enns some gifts to let her know how much we appreciated what she all taught me this year, and I was even able to present Grace with a gift from our class(because I drew and decorated on the envelope)
My parents were so proud of me, but it was also a little sad too.
I got to hang out with one of my best buddies from my class(musab)
and I had a picture taken with my teacher and my Dad because in the course of her teaching years she taught both of us..how cool is that?

Water fun day

The weather had been so nice that we had a water fun morning with our daycare friends.
First we had to go on a water balloon scavenger hunt, then we did a water relay race, and then we jumped on the trampoline(or shoudl I say we crawled on our hands and knees pretending to be puppies) while we got water coming down on us.
Everyone was laughing and having a great time.
We ended the day by eating popsicles that had gummy bugs in them.

Kindergarten picnic

When My Momma found out that my class was going to the park to have a picnic, she packed up her daycare kids and they met us at the park to have lunch with me and my school friends.
We got to play at the park too! What a fun day!

Julia's birthday party

One of my oldest friends (and used to be my neighbour) just turned 6, so I went to her birthday party>
We had a scavenger hunt, and got to play on a HUGE inflatable waterslide play structure, followed by hotdogs and cupcakes.
I was most excited for Julia to see the card I made for her.

bike ride

I havent felt very motivated with my bike again this summer, so one day when I wanted to go to Nana & Poppa's for lunch, Poppa came here with his bike and said if I wanted to go to his house now I had to bike with him.
So I got my helmet on and away I went..I made it all the way to his house!!!!

End of baseball season

The baseball season felt so short(maybe because we got rained out a few times)
At our last game, we were all awarded with a Tim Hortons medal, and some treats.
I told my parents that I want to play baseball again next year..it was fun and I learnt a lot.

$1 dinosaur dig

We discovered that you get what you pay for at Dollarama.
I bought myself a dinosaur dig and was very excited to try it out.
I worked and worked at it, and got nowhere with it, so after getting angry my Momma helped me to find all of the dinosaur pieces.
But the pieces were all so cheaply made, that we couldnt even put them all together to make the dinosaur.

Pool party

We went over to my Nana & Poppa's house with our daycare kids for a pool party.
We had great weather, yummy snacks and good friends, which meant that we all had a BLAST!!!

Last night I didnt really want to go to the bike rodeo because the weather was being silly, so I decided to work on a layout instead.
My Momma got the supplies together, and I did everything else by myself(except for the paper trimmer)

Just walking my dog

I ran all the way to the park with Memphis and all the way back..I dont think either of us have ever ran that far!

picnic in the park

Yesterday, My Momma took the daycare kids and I to the park to play on the playground, and have a picnic lunch. It was a nice way to enjoy the weather, while burning a LOT of energy!!!
We had so much fun.

baseball with Uncle Kenny

On Monday, my uncle Kenny came out to town just to watch me play baseball..I felt VERY special!!!
After the game, he showed me a few pointers, and then he took me in his car so we could go to the hut for some ice cream!
This made my whole day..I was so proud that he took the time just for me!!
