pedicure

My Momma finally let me paint her toenails. I chose metallic silver for them, and I was so impressed with my own work, that I tried convincing her to let me draw stars on the toes, and paint her fingernails.

1st time on the school bus

On my second day of school, I got to take the bus to school(and now I take it every morning) Its handy because the bus stops right on our driveway, so instead of waiting outside, I can go straight from our front door onto the bus.

Gretna hot spot festival

My Momma and I went to go check it out, and she was impressed with how much Gretna has changed since we lived there.
The festival was perfect for kids....a pinata scramble, kiddie carnival, face painting, small train ride, etc.

Now a Kindergartener

This is me on the first day of Kindergarten. Even though I now have to wake up at 7:30 I LOVE going to school.
On the first day, My Momma and the daycare kids walked me to school. My momma even got a few tears when my teacher took me by the hand to go inside the school..But I was brave.

The night before school started

I got to see all of my new school clothes and supplies for the first time, and boy!! was I ever excited..I love getting new clothes, as you can tell from my expression where I am wearing my new jammies:)

After having weeks of no success with posting on here, I was going to delete this blog today to find it working..hahhaha
so, the blog stays:)
Here are a few pictures My Momma took of me at The mosquito pond...and yes!!!! I dressed myself..I layered a white dress shirt with my striped tank top..hehehe

ready for school

I have new shirts, pants, shoes, a backpack and some school supplies and I am ready to roll into Kindergarten!!!!!

We spent some time outside after it cleared up out there.
I posed for pictures with the dandelion fuzz, and then I showed My Momma how Nick (from the Jonas Brothers) poses for pictures in magazines.
In case You were wondering, I chose my clothes myself this morning, and I based my outfit choice on what Nick was wearing in a picture

I didnt realize this but after I fell asleep, Memphis decided she wanted to come sleep beside me. She had actually been cuddling with me, but as soon as she saw Momma with the camera she moved away a little

PC beach

August 17/08

The weather was so hot outside that the 3 (well 4 with Memphis) wanted to go cool off, so we went to the beach.
I spent most of my time building sand castles and "boogie boarding" while Memphis used a lot of energy swimming around

birthday party

August 15/08
This summer has been filled with birthday parties, and today We got to celebrate Aurellia's first birthday. She was so cute and happy.
She opened up her presents, we ate yummy carebear cake, and we played outside with her toys.

I had my pictures taken by Jennifer Klassen.
We met at a farm and explored the yard while she snapped away.
My Momma was very happy with the end result of the pictures, and aside from a few mosquito bites, I really enjoyed the afternoon of pictures.

Mosquito pond

We took Memphis for her first swim to the mosquito pond, and after being a little concerned about Si walking into the water without her, she got right in there and swam away.
It is funny though because even though she is the cutest dog, when she is wet she is not cute at all, and she makes really weird sounds when she is wet.

peter pan

August 10/08
The 3 of us went to winnipeg with Nana & Poppa our for dinner to the olive garden and then to watch "Peter Pan" at rainbow stage.
I dressed the part, brought along my Peter Pan doll, and was incredibly excited...and WOW!!!! Did I ever have fun!!! I was very interested during the entire play, and even today cant stop talking about it.
Thanks for the early birthday present, Nana & Poppa.

fun in the city

Friday was so fun.
We went to the keg for dinner, and spent the night at The Holiday Inn( we went to the pet friendly one because we brought memphis along)
We went swimming, and we were surprised how great it went with having our puppy along.
every day, we say how we couldnt have asked for a better puppy
